The Geelong Future Leaders of Industry Program is sponsored by Skilling the Bay, managed by Geelong Regional Vocational Education Council Inc (GRVEC) and supported by a number of local manufacturing companies. 


Are you are Year 9 or 10 student in the Geelong region?


Are you interested in pursuing a professional pathway in advanced technologies, design, innovative manufacturing or engineering? 


Do you have an interest in maths & science?


Do you want to explore what manufacturing actually means?


If you answered yes to any of these questions then we encourage you to apply for the 2017 GFLOI program.


The GFLOI program will commence during April and run through until October 2017 (one event a month).


Program recipients will be involved in a number of activities which will enable them to:

* Meet people who have pursued a career in manufacturing

* Participate in leadership activities

* Develop presentation and communication skills

* Visit industry sites

* Shadow mentors in industry

* Explore university and TAFE options

* Participate in hands-on activities at the BioLab and a robotics session


The program is designed to be informative and inspirational for participants. It will also convey a strong message to all involved, about the many opportunities in advanced manufacturing.
